What's your next step then Oli?
I really want to get the Silhouette in the water before going back to school - the main reason is having time to get used to the boat. My grandfather has been helping me restore some of the main floor spars - we've now launched the boat and I'm really excited about sailing it for the first time this weekend.

Our thanks to Conrad Humphreys for spending time with Oli and advising him on how to set about the task of sailing the channel. Oli is a huge fan of Conrad and he hasn't stopped talking about the experience since.

More frustration... My crossing was set for last Friday, but I've had to delay because of this weather - low pressures over the Channel are causing 12ft waves and 25 - 30kt winds.
